To operate your account, train and run your twin, show twins in the catalog, process payments and creator payouts, review content for safety and rights, prevent abuse, and communicate with you (for example, a password-reset code or an account notice). We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your voice or your material to train any general, shared, or foundation AI model. The audio you upload is used only to build and run your own twin — the one you own and can withdraw at any time. Your voice never goes into a pooled model that generates other people's music. That's the whole point of Twinset: your voice powers your twin, and nothing else.
We share only what's needed with the service providers that make Twinset work:
We may also disclose information if required by law. Public parts of your twin (your chosen name/handle, previews, and photo) are visible in the catalog by design.
Your training audio is stored privately and is not publicly downloadable. Only the short preview clips and photo you choose are public. Access to private files is restricted to operating and reviewing your twin.
Your voice may be biometric data. Building a voice twin analyzes the characteristics of your voice to create a model that can generate audio resembling it. Depending on where you live, this may be treated as biometric information under laws such as the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) and similar state laws. We create and use your voice model only with your explicit, logged consent, solely to build and run your twin — never to sell it, and never shared except with the voice-model provider that runs your twin on your behalf. If you withdraw your twin or close your account, we delete or de-identify your voice model and training audio (subject only to the limited legal, tax, and payout records noted in Section 5).
We keep your account and creator material while your account is active. We keep your voice model and training audio only while your twin is active. If you withdraw your twin or close your account, we delete or permanently de-identify your voice model and training files within [30 days], except where we must keep limited records for legal, tax, payout, or dispute reasons.
We never sell, lease, trade, or profit from your voice model as biometric data. This retention and destruction schedule, together with Section 4, is our written policy for handling biometric information, provided so it is publicly available as some state laws (such as the Illinois BIPA) require.
You can update your details, withdraw your twin, or request deletion of your account and training material at any time by contacting us. You can reset your password from the password-reset page.
Passwords are stored as salted hashes, private audio is kept in restricted storage, and payment card data is handled by our processor. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit who can access it.
Twinset is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
